    XRC has a lot of option items for graade up. Also possible to extend with FPGA re-programming.

    BlueTooth Device

    Remote controll is important as same as independent robot. Radio control methods are variety. WiFi and BlueTooth are focused. XRC has option as BT control unit. BT is good solution for local connectivity.


  • Controlled by Mobile Phone

    TeamKNOx has compitence of Symbian system building. NOKIA-6630 has BT connection capability. We try to control from NOKIA-6630 via BT.

    1. Modify btdiffmove

      Change connection type from master to slave of btdiffmove.cxx of C:/xport/examples/xrc\robot1/btdiffmove

    2. Create BT control software for NOKIA-6630

      Create BT software based from pointtopoint of SDK from Series60 SDK

    3. Operation

        Install Startup Connect

      1. Installed Robot60
      2. Just started Robot60
      3. Connect to XRC

        Target Device Connected SendMessage

      4. BlueTadios as XRC BT module
      5. Session is started, XRC transmit some data.
      6. Select "Send Message" for giving command to XRC

        Move Forward Send Strings Disconnected

      7. Select command as "Move Forward"
      8. Transmit strings
      9. Session is over

    4. Download

    Charger
    We can confirm to work XPort2.0 on Nintendo latest mobile game console as NitendoDS. NintedoDS has WiFi capability. Probably, most suitable controller for robot.
